I own a new Renault Laguna which has a heat reflecting windscreen. I want to
get a Navman PIN 570 will it work with such a windscreen?

Not without either an external antenna or a re-radiating antenna. We have a
Megane and only SiRFStarIII receivers will work without external antennas.
The 570 is not SiRFStarIII.

Might I ask what attracts you to the PiN570?

I have a similar Laguna and occasionally use my wifes TomTom. Id say
it was about 99% OK.

Is there something wrong with a Navman PIN 570 that I should know about?

Now the Laguna Sport Tourer is my first ever Renault, and it is a super car,
it looks great and drives superb, you should try one. I was a Ford person
for years unless Ford can match this then I aint going back!

Lad at work has one nothing more than that really. I have read some reviews
and dont find a bad one yet? I suppose its all about personal choice, bit
like buying a Laguna really? Lol
