This worked better than I expected. Travelling from left to right as
shown it now tells me to Keep left, implying that the software is
actually capable of dealing with lanes if the map contained that data.
I wonder if the maps could, though the data wold be huge, have lane
connections in them. Next all we need is Turn left at the traffic
lights and more.
Ive also been impressed with its journey time estimating so far.

When you make the correction you can have it set up to ask you if you
want to share or not. You may be able to set it up to never share.
Mines set up to ask.
You can always refuse uploading when you use Tom Tom Home.
