Evesham stopped trading on the high st ( well at least round here) but the
business has been sold on. The Destinator software uses Navteq maps so
getting updates should be no problem ( at least thats what Im hoping )
http://www.navteq.com/ and the map supplied (q3 2005) is rather newer than
that on my Navman Pin 570 ( bought 11/2006) by about 3 years! and is going
to be updated something which navman have said the Pin will not. In practice
the gps is quicker than the Pin by a factor of (about 4 sometime the Pin
simply doesnt until the gps is turned off and restarted ) I have yet to
have it fail to acquire before I have travelled a mile from base its fair
piece of kit and they do mention the euro maps on the site but Im blessed
if I can find how you order them.Ive had the device for two weeks without
the sniff of a lockup which beats the pin hands down.
