I have the Garmin Nuvi 310. The spped camera database supplied via My
Garmin gives me 3 months free updates, it automatically downloads from
a web browser onto my unit, you dont get the option to save the file.

It seems pretty accurate, but the Mobile camera warning is almost
constant on the A90 from Dundee to Aberdeen.

Is there any way to disable the mobile camera warning tones or disable
all mobile camera positions altogether?

TIA

With the pocketgpsworld sc database (for tomtom) you can down load POIs for
fixed / mobile etc and set them up with different warnings.

Not sure if its the same for Garmin though ?

It is either on or off, but you can set up individual cameras and / or
distances when uploading to the Garmin using PoiLoader.

The Garmin/Cyclops supplied file is a pre-built .GPI file, i.e. you dont
build it yourself with POI Loader.

WYSIWYG (sadly).
