Relative of mine is being posted to Germany. He wants to drive from UK to
his posting location and is looking for a Sat Nav. With a budget of Ł180
(can stretch to Ł200), can anyone recommend a sat nav for this purpose and
within budget.

The Navman N series includes European mapping. My N20 was about Ł160.

PS to fit all the Europen maps on you will probably need at least a 1GB SD
card slotted in.

Dont be silly, this chap, has a commission, and we all know officers can
not read maps.

Its chaps who read maps. Wooden tops who ask Where the f... are we
