Ive got an old style road angel with a USB port. Is there any way I can use
the GPS output data via the USB port to drive mapping software on a PDA or
laptop?

Which RA do you have? The original ones had a 9Pin Serial Port rather than
USB. However, given you can buy a new SiRFStarIII USB GPS for around Ł50
Id question whether it was worth it?

My RA unit has a USB port. I was only asking as I already have the hardware
and Id like to try to get the RA talking to a PC/PDA and check actual
position on a map of a few locations.
