They still havent fixed the demo route feature which still resets after
around 70miles and restarts the route.

I submitted that as a bug about a year ago.

Is there anything good in it? Is it as diabolically slow as the version

Seems to work on my Rider.

Good? Theres a new welcome screen and it seems to locate my phone and
headset a lot more quickly than the previous 6.150

I wouldnt say mines slow, no. It never was.

I used to be able to pan by dragging my fingernail across the map at full
speed - if I do that now nothing happens.
