Is it just me or is the Route66 installer really bad?

Can anyone give me a decent step by step guide to this.

Worse than useless. Provides no information whatsoever on the
installation issues (ie, wanting to wipe your existing memory card).

I finally got the product onto the phone and it appears on the menu,
however when you launch it I now get a message telling me that
resources are missing and I should re-install.

Looks like this POS will be going back to them by the next post.
