They make what looks to be a very nice unit, but Id like to try one out. I
currently have a TomTom Go 700. They are available in the UK, and will seek
out a local dealer from their Web site, but has anyone already tried one?

Also just come across an even more unknown brand - Naviflash. This has the
acctraction to me of using Linux, but I cant yet work out if it offers
full European coverage like the TTG. See
http://www.naviflash.de/de/home.php and
http://www.bury.com/technologies/GB/navigation/60. Looks nice, but Id like
to see more.

Which is one of the reasons I chose it originally. However, theres mean a
recent rumour that Microsoft have been looking to buy TT (on the
yournav.com forum). That would kill my relationship with TT! Also, I have a
few niggles with their product, and the two factors have made me start
researching the alternatives.
